The Vincentian Studies Institute regularly sponsors, or co-sponsors, a variety of national programs, educational events, and heritage tours meant to further understanding and appreciation of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Elizabeth Seton and the mission and spirituality of the Vincentian Family. Some of the V.S.I. nationally sponsored events attended by over 600 participants have included: 1989: The Age of Gold. The roots of our Tradition. St. Mary’s Seminary, Perryville, Missouri. 1991: A Woman named Louise: A symposium celebrating the 400th anniversary of the birth of Saint Louise de Marillac. Marillac Provincial House, St. Louis, Missouri. 1997-1999: Vincentian Leadership: Unfolding the Legacy of our mission. Four sessions held in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, Tucson, Arizona, and Chicago, Illinois. 2003: Vincentian Family Heritage Tour of France. 2004: Vincentian Archives for the 21st Century: The Records of Our Past Look to Our Future.
